Phase 1 Piston Berkut
Prerequisites: Private, Single Engine Land, Instrument, Class Two Physical, 18 years of age. Learn to fly the Berkut, an experimental pusher prop aircraft. Students will be certified on this aircraft after proving an ability to operate it in all stages of nominal and non-nominal flight. The primary purpose is for the trainee to become proficient at un-powered landings in a craft with similar aerodynamic characteristics to the suborbital spacecraft

Phase 2 Rocket Trainer
Prerequisite: OCP Piston Berkut training course. Trainees finishing this course will be certified on this aircraft after proving an ability to operate it in all stages of flight, from takeoff to landing and including any emergency situations that might be encountered during flight. Primary purpose is for the trainee to become proficient controlling vehicles that are rocket powered and the handling of any emergency related to rocket power. This course includes instruction on Rocket Engine theory, mechanics, and operation. This course will also give the trainee high altitude, and pressurized cabin training.
