OCP Board of AdvisorsThe Board of Advisors advises the Board of Directors on matters that concern, or may concern, OCP. The items the Board of Advisors considers may be brought up by employees, directors or outside consultants. One person from the Board of Advisors is selected to sit on the Board of Directors by a majority vote. The Board of Advisors is made up of nine people; two are appointed by the majority stock holder, two are appointed by the CEO and five are elected by the employees of OCP.
Frank Albritton is an author, specializing in productivity improvement and the economics of the health care sector. His publications include a book comparing the health insurance markets of the United States and Germany, titled Health Insurance Reform in the United States: A Market Approach with Applications from the Federal Republic of Germany (University Press of America, 1993). In 1998, in recognition of his excellence in teaching, he was nominated to the 1998 "Who's Who Among America's Teachers". He is a recognized leader in online economics education, receiving an award at The Eleventh International Conference on College Teaching & Learning for "Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Technology”. Before coming to Seminole Community College, Professor Albritton was director of the Business and Management Program at Santa Fe Community College in Santa Fe, NM. He has worked/consulted with firms in industries such as retail, health care and manufacturing, including Daimler-Benz (while working for the Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Manfred Gentz, began the preliminary research which led to the Daimler and Chrysler merger) and BMW in Germany and Siemens in the U.S. He is fluent in the German language. His professional interests include his continuing research in productivity, international travel/ consulting and promotion of international student exchange programs. During the summer of 2004, Professor Albritton conducted research during a sabbatical at the University of Cooperative Education in Stuttgart, Germany
